Yoga teacher training

To train as a yoga teacher, or delve deeper into the practice and philosophy.

TRAINING / TRAINING · original image

Our training proposal is based on the teachings of T. Krishnamacharya, a pioneer in the dissemination of yoga in the West. These teachings, adapted for the Westerner by T.K.V. Desikachar, his son, came to Europe thanks to Claude Maréchal, and to Dénia, Alicante, thanks to Cristina Sáez de Inestrillas, Claude's student and Carmen Sánchez's teacher.

Transformative, Faithful and Singular Teaching.

We seek to offer teaching that goes beyond physical postures, giving our students the possibility of growing in all aspects of their being: physical, mental and spiritual.

We remain faithful to the tradition of yoga, adapting it to the particularities of today's practitioner and providing a lively, fresh and expansive teaching.

We understand how important breath work is along with movement in the practice of yoga, since this is its ability to reduce stress, balance the autonomic nervous system and give us a clearer look at our reality through the senses. Conscious breathing coordinated with movement helps us calm the mind, reduce anxiety and connect with our inner being. By paying full attention to each inhalation and exhalation during the practice of physical postures, we manage to synchronize body and mind, generating a feeling of calm and well-being. This connection between breath, movement and attention allows us to explore our reality more deeply and clearly, awakening our inner potential and strengthening our presence in the present moment.

Achieving harmonization, balance and tuning in the health of our body involves paying conscious attention to the world around us and maintaining a deep connection with external nature. By being in harmony with the seasonal cycles, tuning in to the life that blooms in spring, expands in summer, gathers in fall, and rests in winter, we can align ourselves with the biological cycles of our own existence. This connection nourishes us, teaches us about impermanence and the constant renewal of life, and invites us to adopt an attitude of respect and gratitude towards the matter that sustains us and the rhythms that regulate our physical and emotional well-being. When we honor this connection with nature, we open ourselves to the ancestral wisdom that flows through the elements and find the path to the integral harmonization of our being.

T. Krishnamacharya

T.K.V Desikachar

Desikachar left us a great legacy and we have a duty to pass it on. Its richness and value lie in the application of yoga to listening and observation. We learn this throughout the years of training. We need that transformation that goes beyond the physical. We apply that knowledge, either individually or collectively, to personalize them, as if we were haute couture couturiers designing tailored, perfect, unique, wonderful practices. Where movement and breathing come together for the same purpose, where each stitch connects with the next to create a path. A path to our heart, both physical and spiritual.
